CIFE Executive Training: Fragile states, weak institutions and governance

CIFE is proud to announce the launch of its Executive Training Fragile states, weak institutions and governance - Strategy and policy challenges to stem mass (e)migration, brain drain and capital flight! 
Participants will be afforded the opportunity to address and discover the early warning signs of state collapse, assess the causes and consequences of institutional weakness as well as analyse the wide range of suitable policy responses, while participating in cross cultural debates led by seasoned professionals in the field.

Michel-Henry Bouchet
Michel-Henry Bouchet is Distinguished Global Finance Professor at SKEMA Business School and Strategy Adviser of investment funds. He specializes in global financial issues and country risk assessment. Dr. Bouchet (IEP Paris, Master and Pd.D. USC) has held high-level positions in international banking, including at BNP, the World Bank, and the Institute of International Finance in Washington, D.C., until being CEO of Owen Stanley Financial SA. Arnaud Leconte
Arnaud Leconte is Programme Director at CIFE of the Joint Master in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs and former Senior Analyst at Wall Street Systems.

Thierry Apoteker
Thierry Apoteker is Chairman & Chief Economist of TAC Consulting, specialising in country risk issues and macroeconomic analysis. Graduated from HEC and Doctorate in Monetary Economics University Paris Dauphine). At Banque Indosuez (now Credit Agricole Indosuez / Calyon/ CACIB), he set up the country risk division before becoming the bank's chief economist and head of the Research Department. Thierry is a frequent lecturer on international economics in many academic institutions (HEC, IGR, ENSAI), as well as in international conferences.
 

Jean-Louis Arcand
Jean-Louis Arcand is Professor of International Economics and Head of International Economics Department at the Graduate Institute Geneva.
His areas of expertise are agriculture, land and rural development; decentralisation policies; development, cooperation and aid policies; global health governance;redistribution policies, social inequalities, poverty. He is an expert in the regions of Subsaharan Africa, Middle East and North Africa.
 

Sara  Brimbeuf
Sara Brimbeuf est Chargée de plaidoyer restitution des avoirs détournés à Transparency International, après plusieurs expériences en matière de lutte contre la corruption au sein d’organisations internationales, organisations non gouvernementales et cabinet d’avocats.Elle est chargée du plaidoyer sur la question de la restitution des avoirs détournés. A ce titre, elle promeut la proposition de Transparency International France visant à restituer aux populations victimes les fonds publics ayant été détournés pour alimenter le train de vie dispendieux de quelques dirigeants étrangers corrompus, au lieu de financer des infrastructures et des services publics de première nécessité.Diplômée d’un master 2 en droit international économique de l’Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1), Sara est également titulaire du Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat (CAPA).

Cynthia Rocamora
Cynthia Rocamora est Responsable du fundraising à Transparency International. Après une expérience au sein de la Conférence des Nations Unies pour le Commerce et le Développement à Genève autour d’enjeux liés à la gouvernance de dettes souveraines, Cynthia est entrée dans le secteur associatif en rejoignant les équipes de l’Unicef à Marseille. Diplômée de Sciences Po Strasbourg et titulaire d’un Master en Finance, elle intègre Transparency France en 2018 en tant que responsable du fundraising.
