Shaping Europe's Geopolitical Power: Climate, Trade and Economic Security

Our Joint Master in EU Trade and Climate Diplomacy (EUDIPLO) aims to develop strong analytical and negotiation skills through evidence-based learning in key areas of the programme: EU Governance, Geopolitics and Climate Diplomacy, Trade and Economic Security.
Students will acquire critical thinking skills and first-hand experience of how EU institutions and decision-making processes function, and how to deal with them in the public, non-profit and private sectors.

This one-year programme takes place in Rome, Berlin and Nice, with a study trip to Brussels.

Graduates receive the following certifications: the Joint Master in EU Trade and Climate Diplomacy from CIFE and Luiss; and CIFE's degree qualification "Policy Officer in European and International Organisations" (level 7 EQF), recognised by the French state.

EUDIPLO graduates are equipped with the necessary skills to pursue careers in international organisations, foreign representations, think tanks, public affairs consultancies, NGOs and advocacy organisations.

Study Trip: Visiting the European Institutions

One of the best ways to learn about European and international organisations is to visit them. That is why a study trip to Brussels is an essential part of the programme. The students meet with public officials who explain the mission of their institution and aspects of their work. These visits enable the students to gain an insight into the working environment of European and international organisations, to make useful contacts and to learn about recruitment procedures.

Among recent visits:
 Council of the European Union
European Commission: DG TRADE, DG CLIMA and DG RTD (Research and Innovation)
 European External Action Service
 European Parliament
