We’re delighted to introduce our new MAEIS European Integration Global Studies group of 24 students from 15 countries, who began their courses in Berlin earlier this month!
They were welcomed by Director General Matthias Waechter, Programme Director Laurent Baechler, plus the Student Services Manager Clarivel Santana, at the Studentendorf in Schlachtensee, which is looking particularly autumnal right now.
The academic year has begun with introductory classes in International Economics with Laurent Baechler, the History of European Integration with Hartmut Marhold and International Relations with George Tzogopoulos.
They also had the opportunity to discover the 20th century history of Berlin with a visit "In the Footsteps of Divided Berlin" led by Ruth Porstmann.
We look forward to getting to know them more as they move from Berlin to Nice in January, and then to Rome or Istanbul in April!
