IMREDD's mission is to ensure the effective connection and interaction between basic research and innovation around high-level technological platforms in public-private partnerships. The purpose of the Reference Centers is to promote partnership research actions, to create initial and ongoing training and to promote expertise and innovation for economic development.
IMREDD is the operator of the deployment of the Reference Centers of the Côte d'Azur University. The Reference Centers are built to respond to three societal issues related to the territory and its communities:
- The smart city, prevention and risk management
- Health, well-being, and aging
- The Digital Challenge
