Joint Master and Energy Students Participate in the Nice International Half Marathon

On Sunday 30 April 2023, our students from the Joint Master programmes and the Master in Global Energy Transition and Governance participated in the Nice International Half Marathon.

This annual event attracts participants from all over the world to run along the exceptional setting of the famous Promenade des Anglais. This year's marathon offered different distances of 21km (half marathon), 10km and 5 km.

Our students ran in specially produced T-shirts sponsored by CIFE and our partner Luiss School of Government (for the Joint Masters) and SEBR Solutions (for the Energy students).

The run started at 8 am with 21km and 10km runners. In under 50 minutes, our first student crossed the 10km finish line. Despite the heavy rain in the middle of their half marathon, our three EUDIPLO half marathon entrants, Wouter, Marie and Lucas, pushed on and persevered to finish their 21 km race in under 2 hours.

Our CIFE students' participation in the Nice International Half Marathon is an impressive achievement. It requires dedication and determination to complete such a long run. We congratulate our students and are very proud of them for participating and completing the race.
