CIFE Application Procedure: Update for prospective students

CIFE continues to carefully monitor the global situation surrounding the outbreak of Covid-19. As the situation continues to evolve, we remain committed to supporting you in planning for your next academic step. We understand that this is a period of great uncertainty and therefore want to explain our plans for the 2021/22 academic year.

When will the 2021/22 academic year begin?
We can confirm that all of our programmes will begin in October 2021 and will follow the initial schedule as planned.

What will the 2021/22 academic year look like?
We hope to welcome you in person! We know that there may be issues that prevent this from happening, such as travel restrictions or visa difficulties. Therefore, if necessary, the academic year will begin with a dual campus set-up.

Will CIFE be able to implement social distancing measures?
Yes, because the number of CIFE students per programme is relatively small, it will not be difficult for us to adapt to any form of social distancing.

How long will the potential dual campus situation last?
For the moment, we hope that the potential dual campus situation will only be for the first trimester and that all students will be able to attend in person from the beginning of the second trimester. However, this will be extended for as long as necessary.

How will CIFE adapt its teaching for the dual campus?
CIFE already has over ten years of experience in remote teaching: our Executive Master in EU Studies has been one of the very first Master programmes taught online. In the past months, all of our Master classes have been delivered online, including interactive formats such as workshops, simulations and debates. We are therefore in a position to offer students high quality teaching both in person and online.

Can I still apply for a programme in 2021/22?
Yes, admissions are still open and we encourage you to proceed with your application. If you need any advice about the choice of programme or the application procedure, contact the student services team. The CIFE student services will support you as much as possible to ensure a smooth and flexible procedure, including the possibility to apply and submit documents that are currently not available at a later stage. You can submit your application through our online application form.

When are the deadlines for the programmes in 2021/22?

We understand that it may be difficult to get certain documents at present. Contact our Student Services team and they will be able to advise you about the possibility of submitting documents at a later date.
