The Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE) is a private higher education institute founded in 1954, with its headquarters in Nice and offices in Berlin, Brussels and Istanbul.

CIFE’s Berlin office is seeking a Programme Coordinator (m/f/d) for the field of "Master in Advanced European and International Studies" to support the supervision of the Berlin trimesters of the CIFE Master's programmes from 1.10.2021.


This is a one-year fixed-term position with an average working time of 30h/week.
It is intended that the position will subsequently be made permanent.

Responsibilities:
- Organisational and logistical preparation of the students' stay in Berlin;
- Participation in the preparation of the content of the Berlin trimesters in close coordination with the
programme management;
- Support and contact person for the teaching staff/international experts before and during the Berlin trimesters;
- Coordination and communication with the Studentendorf Schlachtensee and other service providers;
- Contact person for the students.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences and humanities (preferably political science, history or cultural studies) OR administrative training with experience in dealing with participants or clients;
- strong organisational skills;
- structured, independent and problem-solving way of working;
- very good language skills in German and English (French a desirable plus);
- confident handling of the standard Office programmes;
- good communication skills as well as intercultural competences and enjoy working with young people;
- interest in questions of international cooperation and European integration/European Studies desirable;
- Ability to work in a team, reliable and flexible.
