EUGOV Graduation Ceremony in Berlin - July 2026
At the start of July, our Master in Advanced European and International Studies - Applied European Policy and Governance Studies students were the next group to graduate next to the Schlachtensee lake in Berlin.
18 motivated and talented graduates from 13 different countries - and committed Europeans, too. We're very proud of them and pleased that our EUGOV Master equipped them with the knowledge and skills to launch their professional careers in the European institutions and international organisations!
Family and friends from near and far, CIFE professors and staff celebrated with our EUGOV graduates. They were greeted by Matthias Waechter, Director General of CIFE, and Programme Director Susann Heinecke-Kuhn, in the presence of Hanna Zieren, Coordinator of the Presence Masters in Berlin, and members of the jury Soeren Keil, Frédéric Lépine and George Tzogopoulos.
In his welcome address, Matthias Waechter underlined the particular importance of European unity today. He called on the new EUGOV Alumni to keep up their strong commitment and to play their part in advancing the European project.
Graduates Hannah Roure and Zoe Albaladejo looked back on their year in France, Belgium and Germany, the first-ever CIFE Master group to spend a full term in Brussels. They reflected on how enriching it was to learn and live within such a diverse group, both culturally and personally.
We wish our EUGOV graduates a great summer and all the best for the weeks and months to come!
