New Academic Year for the Energy Master 2026/27
The students of the Master in Global Energy Transition and Governance started classes for the new academic year on Tuesday 6 October.
After an official welcome from the Director General of CIFE, Matthias Waechter, and Programme Director Rachel Guyet, in the presence of CIFE staff based in Nice, the students began the year with a climate fresk, a brainstorming session on the concept of energy, a methodology seminar about oral presentation, and an introduction to the Master's coaching and mentoring programme.
With 16 students from 14 different countries, this international group will spend the next year studying in Nice and Berlin.
The Energy Master aims to give a deep understanding of the complexity of the current energy transformations in Europe and worldwide. With its unique, multidisciplinary approach, the programme analyses the links between the different levels of energy governance, from an international to a local level, offering problem-focused learning at the crossroads of theory and practice.
