Spetses Island and Athens, Greece - 15 July 2017 – 5 August 2017

In 2017, the Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE), Berlin and Nice, the Europa-Institut of the University of the Saarland (EI), Saarbrücken, Germany and the European Center of Economic and Financial Law (ECEFIL) of the Pantheion University, Athens, Greece organized for the 5th time the EU-China Summer School in Greece.

ECEFIL Spetses 2015 with CIFE

This three week Summer School will be held for 10 days on the Greek island of Spetses and for almost two weeks in Athens, the capital of Greece. During this programme, the Chinese students will be exposed to intensive lectures on the major political, legal and economic perspectives of the EU. All the courses will be taught in English by internationally renowned faculty from CIFE and ECEFIL. Moreover, by visiting institutions dealing with EU-China trade relations and investment partnerships, the Chinese students will be brought into direct contact with decision-makers and professionals. Finally, this Summer School will be enriched by a thrilling cultural programme which will provide the Chinese students with guided visits to historic places such as the Acropolis and to many other important archaeological sites in southern Greece.

The exposure to the European Union in the classroom coupled with field trips to institutions and excursions to historical and cultural landmarks of ancient Greece will make this EU-China Summer School one of the most rewarding experiences of the participants’ university career.
