CIFE Alumni Meeting 2026 in Brussels

Another successful international CIFE Alumni meeting came to a close this weekend in Brussels!

On Friday, after a visit to the “Postcolonial?” exhibition at the House of European History, the Alumni gathered for a human library session, where 5 of our former students presented themselves in the form of a book, sharing their experiences. This was followed by an opening reception.

On the following day, a visit to the permanent exhibition of the House of European History was organised, before a meet-up at the Brussels food festival taking place in the city this weekend.

The day culminated with a keynote speech delivered by CIFE President Herman Van Rompuy and networking and catch-ups during the cocktail reception.

Place Flagey was the final meeting point on a rainy Sunday morning, where the Alumni gathered to chat with seafood and drinks.

A big thank you to CIFE Alumni Director Emre Gur for organising such a brilliant weekend. And a special thank you to all Alumni for joining the event in large numbers and such good spirits. We look forward to seeing you again in 2027!
