PROGRAMME

The EU-China Summer School is an exclusive programme for students from China, organized by the Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE), Berlin and Nice.

This Summer School will be held for 15 days in Athens, the capital of Greece. During the programme, the students will be exposed to intensive lectures on the major political, legal and economic issues in the EU. All courses will be taught in English by internationally renowned faculty from CIFE and other renowned European universities.

During visits to important political and economic sites and institutions, such as COSCO at the Port of Piraeus or the Hellenic Parliament, the students get into direct contact with decision-makers and professionals.

To round off the programme, the students take part in a thrilling cultural programme of guided visits to historic sites such as the Acropolis, excursions to Delphi, Sounio, Egina and Olympia, and some free time to explore Athens.

The exposure to the European culture and politics in the classroom coupled with field trips to institutions and excursions to historical and cultural landmarks of ancient Greece will make the EU-China Summer School one of the most rewarding experiences of your university career.

 

ADMISSION & FEE

Eligible to apply for the EU-China Summer School are Chinese graduate and undergraduate students at CIFE's partner institutions.

The students should have sufficient English language skills.

Detailed information on the application process will be provided by the international office of CIFE´s partner universities in China.

Upon successful completion of the programme, the students will earn 3 ECTS awarded by CIFE and a certificate wishing to leverage their educational experience in this Summer School with subsequent pursuit of internships and/or other higher learning opportunities.

Close guidance will be provided by the CIFE programme director and a Chinese project assistant who will be with the students during the whole programme. 

The students will be accommodated in a 4-star hotel in or around Athens. CIFE will provide transfers to all scheduled visits and field trips during the programme.

The admission fee for the EU-China Summer School 2020 is € 1.800,00.

EXPERIENCES

The EU-China Summer School will provide Chinese students with a unique cross-cultural experience.
