Alumni Community

Since its creation in 1954, CIFE has trained thousands of students and professionals in a variety of academic programmes. These alumni are today the key occupants of fundamental sectors of our societies – at home, European-wide and internationally in over 86 countries. Having played a significant role in their know-how and development, CIFE is particularly proud of its alumni and considers cherishing this link with them to be of its utmost priority.

Over the years CIFE has introduced a wide range of initiatives that involve former students in the daily life of the institution. Immediate examples point to the construction of a sustainable bond between current students, teaching staff and graduates in the form of invitations to visit as lecturers, an annual reception given by its President Jean-Claude Juncker, a series of alumni get-togethers in cities where summer academies take place and the dissemination of the alumni magazine “La Lettre des Anciens”.

Its latest effort to reinforce this bond is the recent launch of a new web project -
http://alumni.cife.eu - which caters wholly for CIFE alumni programme-wide.
As the virtual home of the alumni community, this social networking website gives former students the chance to stay connected to their institution, professors and fellow-alumni.
This interactive tool allows alumni:

These and many more features of the new alumni website give a special boost to our world-wide alumni network.

  • to create and maintain a personal profile page with updated contact and professional information, picture galleries and blogs;
  • to benefit from a Career Centre by browsing for and posting job ads;
  • to message other members;
  • to read latest news from classmates and the institution, and
  • to sign up for events.
